Fence permits in Spencer Township

Submit a zoning permit application before constructing or relocating a fence.

What the official guidance says

The township asks for an overhead site plan and, for a fence, its location, height, linear feet and type. It does not issue permits on the day of application or before inspector approval.

Prepare for the permit conversation

Property address and parcel number.
Available survey and a sketch of fence runs, gates, buildings and street edges.
Proposed material, height and approximate length.
Any association instructions, easements or pool-barrier requirements.

This is a suggested preparation list; the local office determines the required application documents.
